Honestly, he had expected it to take just a little longer, but he will take it not doing so as a compliment. And the remark? Rufus just laughs as he draws his hands away, nipping once more at Reeve's ear.

"I have had plenty of chances to practice."

If Rufus doesn't want to see it as skill, well, there is always the fact that it's been a while for Reeve, the previous night aside.

"I hope you have many more where I'm concerned," Reeve chuckled, and it's just as breathy as all his other statements recently. Damn. "I see I'm going to have to provide more skill in the future to even compete."

"I look forward to it." Rufus pulls back so Reeve can turn around if he wants. "Also, to your earlier question: I haven't slept with any of the Turks. But I have needed help bathing since the Stigma, and let's just say I've caught enough of a glance or two at Rude in wet clothes to know he's hung.

"Then I won't have to ask," Reeve chuckled. Then he got a bit more serious, because well, Reeve was serious. By nature.

"It may be a while before I can visit again."

"Ask Reno to piss him off, if he gives you any guff." Rufus smiles, and brushes his hand along Reeve's skin. "I was already aware that might be. As I said, we have other methods of communication we can use."

"If I couldn't handle a little guff, I wouldn't have lasted long as an executive," Reeve pointed out, enjoying the touch. They should probably finish cleaning and get out. He has so much to get back to.

"Yes, I suppose you could call, and you've got messengers. The latter won't be as effective when I'm out of the city. But thank you. For... this chance."

"I also have the Cait unit when you are home." Rufus points out, before looking vaguely confused. "What chance?"

What chance? Reeve moved forward to pull Rufus against him, into his arms, and pressed their lips together. This chance. Them. It was strange, but he was happy for it, and he wanted to take this seriously. And Rufus was allowing him to.

"This one," he answered, voice soft. "And yes, You'll need to practice on Cait's conversation abilities a bit more before I can let him go out of the apartment."

Rufus enjoys the kiss, taking in the meaning slowly, even before Reeve speaks again; and he only smiles at Reeve, seeing no reason to respond at first, though he does regarding the Cait unit. "I seem to learn quickly, at least."

"You do," Reeve agreed, a hand stroking down Rufus's side. Just to feel him. "Very quickly. Should I be worried that I soon won't have anything to teach you?"

Rufus shivers at the stroke to his side.

"Oh, I'm sure you'll find things. If not, there are interesting books out there... and I am still young enough I won't die from trying strange positions... Not sure about you though."

"Really?" Reeve laughed, he wasn't that much older than Rufus. "You're a wonderful little pest, you should know that."

He spared one last kiss to Rufus's head before climbing out of the shower.

"Ironically, I am not too different from Reno in some areas." Rufus notes, shutting off the shower and getting out after. "Towels are in the same cabinet as the sheets."

"Reno is annoying. You're a pest," Reeve countered.

He moved to gather towels for them and started to dry himself off, putting one near the shower for Rufus.

"I hope you'll forgive me for dashing without eating."

"There's a difference?" Rufus snickers, grabbing up the towel to rub down his hair a little before wrapping it around his waist. "Get dressed. I will make you some toast, so you can eat on the way back. And some coffee."

"Yes, there is. Trust me, I'm qualified to know," Reeve chuckled.

Wait... Reeve turned to look at Rufus at the offer, and he smiled. Yes. He's okay with that offer.

"Thank you."

Rufus nods, turning to go toward the kitchen and running a hand through his hair to try and shake off a bit more of the water, since his towel is otherwise occupied around his waist.

"Take mine," Reeve chuckled, mostly dried as it was. He threw the towel over Rufus's head as the man walked past.

It was a good look.

Rufus is not really expecting a towel to be tossed over his head, and the small 'ack' sound he makes shows this, even as he grabs at the offending object, almost throwing it at Reeve before deciding the man was just being nice and keeping it.

He comes back in the room only once, to drop the towels on the floor and put on at least some underclothes and pants, before heading back out to finish preparing things for Reeve.

It took Reeve a while to change and once he was suited up he grabbed his bag and headed back into the main room.

"Am I presentable?"

Rufus has placed a container of coffee on the table for Reeve, as well as put some toast in a bag, and sat down, and so he has an ample chance to look over Reeve and actually consider his question.

"I believe so."

"Well then, I suppose I'm off," Reeve said, moving to pick up the container of coffee and the bag.

Oh, it would be nice to steal a kiss just briefly. Before he gets going. Before he puts himself in a sealed environment with Reno to judge and pry.

In a way, he's almost excited.

"Be careful. I would hate last night to be a one time thing." Rufus smiles, and perhaps reading Reeve's mind, or just due to his own desires, he stands and kisses Reeve deeply.

"I know," Reeve agreed, a bit softer. "I want more chances with you. With us."

Ah, the kiss. That one was lovely. Just enjoyed kissing Rufus for a moment before he was forced to pull away.

"Any questions I should not entertain from your men?"

He still had to talk to Tseng.

Rufus pouts a faint bit that the kiss is done, but then smiles and chuckles softly. "Answer anything you like, in whatever way you like. Just make sure you tell me any juicy responses when we speak next.

"Being cooped up so often, gossip has become a past time for me."
