“It doesn’t sound weird, love. It... it sounds like you might want to keep me for a bit longer. Which is good in my books.”

His fingers move to stroke into the man’s hair.

"I would have kept you anyway." His lips turn up in an evil little smirk, though his eyes seem playful as he shifts to look at Reeve. His hand raising, he brings it up to toy with Reeve's collar. "In fact, there is a small part of me that feels like doing so... until you say no more, anyway."

Well that just earns a chuckle. Good to know he still moves the man in some ways.

“I would hardly say it is a small part. But by all mean, consider it a congratulations on health present.”

"As if you wouldn't enjoy it just as much." Rufus slowly sits up, moving so he can straddle one of Reeve's legs, bringing his hands up to brush his fingers through Reeve's hair before tugging a bit sharply with a smirk. "Though I should warn you, I am in a mood after all of that..."

Well, Rufus isn't wrong about that. He would enjoy it quite a bit, wouldn't he? Doesn't he? Makes a pleased little noise when Rufus tugs at his hair.

"A mood? What ever sort, dear?"

"The kind to be an annoying, slightly unpleasant, very demanding little brat." He lets go of Reeve'a hair, fingers running down slowly, scraping the other man's neck as he goes. "I'm even tempted to give you orders and make you do all the work."

“I mean, it is our celebration of you, I might be amenable. Provided you don’t slip a ‘help me take over the world’ in there.”

Reeve has to say he doesn’t mind the turn this conversation has, inevitably, taken.

Rufus chuckles at the caveat, and it's pretty obvious he could think of some snarky remark to counter it, at least if the wider grin is any indication. Yet he does hold his tongue, content for now just to be sitting where he is and enjoying the feel of Reeve's skin under his fingers; strange how he didn't realize just how much he missed the warmth of it, even if all he has right now is the man's neck to tease.

Something he decides to remedy, seeing if he can free some of what Reeve is wearing so as to scrape his fingers over more skin.

Not like Reeve would hold him back. In fact, now that those fingers were clearly given to wandering, he even tries to make it easier by loosening his tie for Rufus. And of course that is a sign that he is more than okay with the playfulness of the younger man. Should he be shocked that a few buttons of his shirt are undone in short order?

“Seems like someone is adventurous today.”

"No more adventurous than normal." He appreciates the feeling of Reeve's collar bone once those buttons are free, but only for a moment as he reaches up to draw away the tie the othee man is loosening, not yet discarding it as he leans in to kiss him. "Not yet, anyway... but if you give me some time, I'm sure we could find something adventurous to do."

"I would give you all the time I can tonight," Reeve assures him, reaching up to take the tie and throw it aside. Maybe slow isn't his goal with the young Shinra. Would it be wrong to just start stripping Rufus right now? Perhaps. The younger man is the one celebrating his own victory here.

His eyes watch the tie as it is tossed away, perhaps judging whether he should say he wanted to keep it, but quickly turn back to Reeve. "And how much time do you estimate we have?"

"We have at least the rest of the night. I don't think there is anything short of a Turk that could pull me away from your right now. And even that would depend on the Turk."

Because some of them probably wouldn't have the motivation to.

Rufus chuckles at that, slowly sliding off the leg he's been using as a seat, grabbing one of Reeve's hands as he does to tug it gently. He will even be kind and not ask what Turk would actually get the man to move, though he could guess based on the factors involved.

"Then why don't we head to the bedroom? It's very spacious."

Spacious sounds lovely. Reeve smiles and allows his lover to pull him to his feet to guide him toward said bedroom.

“How spacious? are you planning to make use of it?”

Rufus chuckles a little, looking at Reeve with a raise of a brow, as if asking him to recall who he is talking to. Rufus is, after all, still Rufus Shinra, even if he has learned some humility over the last few years. So it shouldn't surprise Reeve he doesn't answer, nor should it surprise the dark-haired man that when Rufus uses the term "spacious" he means larger than is rightfully necessary.

Of course, that tinge of humility and change does cause a shrug as he lets Reeve examine what must be a small apartment-sized room. "I figured for at least one night, I might as well be the spoiled brat and get something I could more than spread out in."

As he speaks, Rufus is not idle. He moves from the doorway, letting Reeve stay or follow, to a closet in the room and pulls out a duffel bag, smirking as he holds it up, before tossing it to Reeve.

"As for your question of making use... You tell me."

And what a spoiled brat sort of situation this room is. Reeve actually balks a little at it, for half a second, before following his lover. And then his attention is fully on the duffel bag. What possibly could be in there?

He catches it when it's thrown and stares at his lover.

"You have plans?"

Rufus settles on a chair arm, sliding his shoes off while smiling at Reeve, and tilting his head at the bag.

"You wanted me to be in complete charge of you once before, didn't you? In that bag are some... suiting pieces of clothing for a slave, or pretty much anything else we can think of."

Wait... What? He stares at Rufus and he frowns.

"I thought this wasn't something you wanted to try?"

And the problem is, he's also a bit turned on.

"I changed my mind." Is the simple response, even as he stands, now bare-footed as he crosses his arms loosely. "Although if you need a more detailed explanation... well, what do you know about the Remnants?"

Any explanation that involves the remnants might just make this worse. So instead he moves to Rufus and pulls the man into his, well, arm. He's still holding the bag.

"If this is what you want, if it's what you need, I am happy to help you work through things."

Rufus smiles, draping his arms around Reeve's neck and chuckles softly. "Don't worry, Reeve, I'm not going to hurt you beyond what you enjoy. Nor am I going off the deep end."

"I don't think you'd manage to get me into a place to consider a safeword," Reeve grins.

"We'll see." His tone is sing-sing almost, even as he leans up to kiss Reeve before pulling back. "Still, think of one you like while you go see if you like any of what I've bought..."

"Reno," Reeve suggests. Come on, what could kill a mood more?

He smirks as he moves away then, heading for the bed to put down the bag and see what is there.
