Bless the lack of embarrassment, because Reeve does appreciate the view from behind as well. If this is going to be a strange of a meeting as it already is, he feels he at least deserves a half a moment to appreciate the man's ass. Simple as that.

He doesn't let Rufus stretching over him go fully unanswered though. He catches the man in his arms briefly to steal another kiss. Because yes, he is willing to give Rufus a chance to sate himself with kisses. Only then does he respond to the commentary.

"I'm not so old that I would injure myself bedding you," Reeve dismisses. "Unless he has a reason to think you'd harm me. And I would be suicidal to do so much as leave a scratch on you."

He enjoys the kiss as it's given, using the hand which had been holding the phone to gently scratch Reeve's chest as he accepts it, before chuckling gently at what Reeve says and moving to straddle the man. "Saying you can do a round two?"

"If you give me a bit of time to catch my breath, maybe have something in my system other than coffee, then yes, I can continue serving as your unexpected entertainment for the evening," Reeve agrees. Apparently they have come to this conclusion.

Even though he remembers all of the how, Reeve still isn't sure what has led to him being right here, in Rufus Shinra's bed. Stranger still, he doesn't know that he'll regret it either. In the mean time he smiles at Rufus, a hand gliding over his leg. "You look good there. Though I think next pass should involve a touch more thought going into it. To make sure we're both comfortable."

"Tseng will get something arranged for food, though I can at least offer water or other drink if you're thirsty right now; though I'd have to get up to do it." Which he doesn't seem to want to do, content just straddling Reeve, and maybe even idly stroking the man's chest. "And what form of thought?"

Somehow, it seems a little strange to ask, but Rufus is quickly discovering that he has a great deal he can learn about healthy sex. Well, as healthy as this unlikely scenario is. Which honestly, it's probably not entirely unhealthy since both of them are consenting adults and the probability had existed for a while.

“Water would be good. A sports drink would be better for rehydrating but I do appreciate where you are right now,” Reeve admits. Yes he is still lazily stroking Rufus’s leg, because it is warm and shapely and forgive him but he can be affectionate after sex. “I will happily send you for water in a bit.”

Still, Rufus is asking more and Reeve smiles. “What you want. You have my full attention for the rest of the night. What would you want of me? How could I serve you, Mister President? What would you like to experience? How would you like my attention directed?”

Whether any of this is healthy or not, that truly is a debate worth delving into at another time. Stress relief can definitely be called for, and there are worse ways to get it. More than that there is a question of desire. Yes, it’s there under the surface. How far it goes might be a better question.

"What I want, hm..." He shifts a little, bringing his hips downward in such a way as to just barely brush suggestively near what had been very hard just moments before and what Rufus intends to get hard again, before bringing himself back to where he was, a slow grin crawling to his lips. "I want to see you use that on me."

Logical, reasonable discussion was obviously something that could wait for a much different time.

Now that is a straightforward response, to the point where Reeve finds himself chuckling. “Yes, Rufus, I believe that part was clear. However I would like to know a bit more than that. For instance are you seeking to repeat my performance, or are other angles in play here? The question is one of power, Rufus. Who holds it, who gives it over.”

And how exactly he is to put himself to use. If he has control he definitely intends for gentler using of the man, how drawn out it will be would depend entirely on how Rufus’s was reacting. Giving himself to Rufus was one thing. Possibly echoing past mistreatment was another. And one he wasn’t willing to have.

"It would seem I'm giving you the power, at least for a little while." Rufus shifts to give Reeve a simple, almost chaste kiss, as if saying he trusts Reeve, before drawing back to smile at him. "I want to see what you will do, how you'd pleasure me. So, everything is on the table until I say it is not.

"A vague answer, I know, but it should tell you all you need to know. Or, do you need to know something more?" The smile stays, but it shifts in appearance, almost fake. "Like what to avoid, maybe? You're still worried about my past, right?"

He doesn’t know what to do with a kiss like that from Rufus. Yes this is a teaching experience for him, a learning one for Rufus, and pleasure both ways, but how do you respond to trust given like that? Frankly he doesn’t know, and the last thing he wants is to use kid gloves with the man.

“I admit I don’t want to fail when I have earned some credit from you,” Reeve offers. “Perhaps the best approach is not to know what to avoid. I would rather not second guess, and I doubt that my usual methods would cause any issues. But for the peace of mind of an apparently old man given what Tseng said, how about a safe word? Say Scarlet’s name and I stop. Trust me, nothing could get me to stop faster than thoughts of her.”

Any seriousness dies with that remark, Rufus' lips curling into a smirk before he laughs. "Oh, I can imagine. She never did much for me either, even if women did anything for me to begin. My old man, however," he clicks his tongue a little. "That man would bed anything."

“Is this where I wonder aloud whether you have a sibling via Scarlet?” Reeve finds himself teasing. Everyone knew of course that Rufus likely had other siblings out there. Frankly, given appearance and what details he knew of the man’s past, he wouldn’t be surprised if someone told him a Cloud was Rufus’s half brother.

The laughter is worth it. He sounds good when he laughs. Almost happy. Reeve can’t help raising a hand to Rufus’s cheek to stroke it briefly.

Don’t get attached. He would hardly be amused by that, he reminds himself. And somehow he keeps the gravity of the thought completely out of his expression.

"Thank Gaia she was barren." Rufus knows Reeve won't ask how he knows this, since he knows Rufus knows a great deal of things he shouldn't, and his time with the Turks would have allowed him access to personnel files, besides.

Yet he pauses, leaning softly into that hand, before leaning over to give Reeve another gentle kiss, his hands running up to Reeve's shoulders so he can scratch them softly as he pulls back and gets up slowly. "I'm going to bite my tongue on something, and go get that water for you."

“By all means. And if I may suggest a damp cloth to manage a bit of tidying? Not that you don’t look good with the mess I made on your stomach.”

He watches the younger man attentively, wondering just what is going on in his head right now. “Don’t be too long if you can avoid it. I imagine we have quite a busy night in front of us.”

Things Reeve doesn't want to know are in his head, but he's fairly good at hiding things, even from a man who seems to bring out the awkward side of him. Which means he smiles, moving out to get what is needed.

After a time, he returns with the water and the cloth, as well as a small note he flashes at Reeve. "Tseng slid it under the door so he wouldn't interrupt us. Dinner will be here in an hour."

He hands Reeve the bottled water, and settles the cloth down, apparently having cleaned up while away. "That one is clean, so use it if you need it."

Who even knew there was an awkward side to Rufus. If asked Reeve would say he never saw one. Who knew. He is content to wait in Rufus’s bed for a while and actually smiles when the man returns.

“Thank you,” he says as he accepts both. Soon he is taking a big swing of water before a quick moment to clean himself up some. “And I will admit I am pleased he at least slid it under the door. I imagine Reno would have busted in. With a camera at that.”

He would like to not be blackmailed over this.

"I imagine Reno has been told to behave or he's taking a vacation up north. Or tied down somewhere." He sits down near Reeve, shifting to lay down on his side and reach over to stroke Reeve's leg gently.

“He might enjoy being tied down,” Reeve counters.

With Rufus lying down Reeve smirks. He considers everything fair game now. Which means he reaches out and pulls Rufus against him, ceasing his lips once again. But not in the heated sort of kiss from earlier. Or the entirely chaste one Rufus had offered him moments ago. No, this time he opts for something softer, slower, but no less lacking in desire. Slow and seeet and open in its own way. This time he feels like he should go somewhere else on the scale of bedding someone.

It can’t be said he intends to make love to Rufus. The feelings aren’t exactly there. But he can definitely show Rufus the steps to that process too. Really he deserves a birthday card every year from whoever Rufus finally settles himself with, if he does. Because Reeve intends to set an example here.

Oh, Rufus could tell Reeve some of the things Reno liked. The man wasn't exactly embarrassed to talk about his sex life, or the things he wanted from it. It had kept Rufus quite amused in his years with the Turks. He even knew Reno was at least part serious about a certain partner... More than his normal.

Not a point of discussion now, of course, as Rufus enjoys the kiss he's being given, leaning himself further into Reeve to get more of it.

One kiss becomes two, becomes three, becomes more than that as his lips press over the line of Rufus's jaw and down the column of his throat. Meanwhile his fingers slide softly down Rufus's side, clearly meaning to explore. This time there are no words while he works. There are other ways to learn this one, and that is by getting to enjoy the lightness of lips on skin. The more smoldering sort of fire than the raging, teasing one of earlier. Passion, Reeve always thought, was in the deliberate worship of another man's body, but not dragging it out enough to be maddening.

Which means he doesn't let his lips get too much further from Rufus's than a scattering of kisses over his collarbone while the fingers of one hand gently work a nipple. Then his lips return to Rufus's as he lays the man on his back rather than his side.

He shivers softly, letting his head tilt back a little bit as Reeve kisses his jaw and neck, before moaning gently as that hand begins to work, and not at all resisting being placed on his back.

His own hands come up, finding their favorite place on Reeve's back, scratching just the way that seems to have been getting a reaction from the man before.

While Reeve does hum a little at the pleasure of being scratched his attention rests more with Rufus, who he has moved to straddle once again. His lips continue their tour of Rufus's face by pressing at the corners of his mouth and brushing gently over his eyes as Reeve's hands skim lightly over his chest. Seems as good a time as any to let his fingers follow the lines of muscles, to enjoy how they might jump under his touch. And the fact that he's almost getting more positive feedback from this attention gives him some hope that Rufus will enjoy himself in this too. That is always a plus.

At that thought Reeve's phone goes off in his discarded pocket. A ringtone assigned to Tifa. He definitely is ignoring that. No chance he's going to interrupt them for this. He lets it ring as he pulls back to look at Rufus and stroke his hair.

"You'll have to tell me what your skin care routine is. It's very soft. I could spend hours kissing it," he says almost cordially as he shifts himself so he is no longer straddling Rufus. Instead he settles between the man's legs and raises one to wrap around his hip. "Mind wrapping. Leg around me for just a bit?"

"Are you sure you shouldn't get that?" Rufus may be enjoying himself, but he knows that work is important, especially for Reeve. Which truthfully makes it interesting that he seems so intent on ignoring it. Has Reeve honestly decided to shut off from work for the evening?

Whatever the response is to his question, Rufus at least is paying attention to Reeve's own question, wrapping his legs lightly around Reeve, just in case he does go to answer the phone.

"I assume Miss Lockhart just wants to know if I happy to know where Strife is," Reeve counters. "Which is silly because I was out of town. Perhaps she thinks I ran into him near Kalm. If it's important she'll call back. Twice."

The woman is quite persistent.

"It's not the end of the world until Nanaki has one of the Canyon villagers call me."

That's really his qualifications at this point. Or, of course, if Cloud calls. Which he never does. Unless the phone rings from one of those two it's really not important. Pretty much everyone else will call for their own ends and those can absolutely wait until tomorrow. Or, if a number of them call, then he'll be concerned. For now it is likely not a problem that cannot wait until the morning. Granted he'll check when he's done with Rufus. Which he isn't yet. What he really is concerned about right now is the sensation of Rufus's leg around him, and it's good.

"Focus on me, Rufus. At least pretend I can hold your attention."

"Give me a reason to keep my attention on you, then." Rufus teases while grinning at Reeve, and wrapping his legs just a bit more tightly around the man.

"Very well," Reeve smiles, leaning in to kiss Rufus lightly once more. They really are soft. How could a man that has gone through so much manage to remain so soft. Again his hands start to explore, feeling the strength of the muscles before gliding over the thickness of Rufus's thighs.

The fingers of one hand pull away to seek out the lotion he'd been using earlier. Time to start on the prep portion of this. Another kiss, warm and gentle, a few more, because he loves the warmth of them, and he thinks Rufus deserves them. But he's found the bottle now, and he pulls back from the kiss, a smile curling his lips as he hovers just a hair away from kissing him.
