Starved of attention? Just a little bit. President Shinra never saw much use in affection, much as he enjoyed sex. It was just another thing a person didn't need to him, but it had never stopped Rufus from seeking his father's attention when he was much younger...

But that didn't have much to do with the kissing.

Reaching over, Rufus hands Reeve his phone from the dresser. "Maybe you can get Reno and really confuse him."

"Oh now that sounds amusing."

He knows the number from his own use and punches it in, smiling the whole time. He had to know how Reno spoke to Rufus first thing.

Being Reno, it was always amusing to hear if he was even sober enough this early in the morning to be coherent; or, more accurately, if he was pretending to be drunk to get out of work and maybe sleep in.

This morning, not so much. This morning, he was "sober" and very inquisitive due to Reeve staying over... which meant he opened with "On a scale of 1 go 10, how far below me is Reeve?"

Really? Reeve just let silence linger for half a moment, how he would imagine Rufus first reacting to that question. Then...

"Well, Reno, I'd say that he's more experienced than you, with a tenderness that melts the heart," Reeve answered, clear amusement in his voice. "Could you go out to the car and fetch his bag? His clothes have all been torn apart over how ravenous he makes his partners."

Rufus raises a brow at what Reeve is saying, obviously curious what Reno had said, although he has some vague idea by what the older man is saying. He also knows Reno...

And it doesn't take long for the red-head to realize that it isn't Rufus on the phone, and make an annoyed sound. "Hey, now... no fair calling from the Boss's phone like this."

"Your boss told me to," Reeve laughed, shaking his head. "At least wait until I leave before you pry apart my skills with Rufus. Bring my clothes up please? Rufus really did tear my shirt off."

With that he hung up, chuckling to himself. He couldn't help it, it felt like the right thing to tease about.

"I don't recall tearing your shirt off..." Rufus laughs softly, and reaches to take his phone back. "Not entirely.

"But what did he ask?"

"He wants you to rate me compared to him in bed," Reeve answered, handing the phone back as he stretches and lays back down. "I imagine we'd be measured on different scales due to different approaches. It's not an equivalency you can compare."

Then he rolls on his side to smile at Rufus. "You would have."

"You think I've slept with him and so can compare?" He seems to find great amusement somehow in that thought, especially since Reno had more than once offered. "And are you saying i can tear it off next time?"

"He seems to think you've slept with him so you can compare," Reeve countered.

The other comment gets him more interested. "Should I bring an extra shirt?"

"He tried to get me into bed at the beginning, but gave up." He then grins at the obvious interest his words gained, and moves to straddle one of Reeve's legs. "Only if I have permission. A good shirt can cost a small fortune."

"Well if he failed, I believe that makes me, by default, better in bed than he is."

The man smiled to himself as he said this, and the smile only grew as Rufus shifted to sit astride one of his legs. Interesting position, and that smile that implied interest. Very nice.

"If you only rip off the buttons I can replace them. It's a skill I learned over the years."

"He wouldn't like to hear that." Rufus chuckles, and lightly brings his nails down any open skin on Reeve. "And you seem to like violence in your sex... Maybe that's why you could stay with Shinra so long."

As Reeve had slept just short of nude, there was plenty of skin for Rufus to claw, and it brought a shudder and a smile.

"Having someone so eager for me that they damage my clothes doesn't make me violent," Reeve countered. But my sexual preferences doesn't make me better or worse suited for the old company. But if that is a problem, I am more than content to play at vanilla."

How interesting to suggest that it mattered, though.

"I meant you like a little violence." Rufus grins. "And vanilla can be boring..."

"I do," Reeve admitted, a softness in his tone. "Frankly, I like knowing that I motivate enough desire to bring a bit of force in. That someone might have trouble resisting how much they want me. Is that silly?"

BUt his expression says he doesn't care if it is. He is happy with who he is.

"Not really. Desire is a tricky thing." He then stands as there is a knock on the door, grabbing up a shirt and sliding it on. "Time to go make Reno more jealous."

"I'm not wearing pants," Reeve reminds Rufus. He'll have to stay in the bed, under the blankets. Because he thinks he might look a bit better here, lying on his side, looking at the door with his chest bare and the blankets falling just over his hips to cover him.

Reno is about the only person he would do this to, just as a sort of revenge for the annoyance he could be.

"Well, all the more fun that way." Rufus opens the door, smiling at Reno when the man obviously decides to stare for a moment, before moving back enough to let Reno get a look- no good if Reeve can't show off, right? - and indicating the Turk to put Reeve's bag by the door.

"Good morning, Reno," Reeve greeted, and he made sure to pitch his voice low as if Reno had just been interrupting something. Because it was amusing to play this up more. "Good bye, Reno."

The look Reeve got, after the look over, was like a cat who'd been tempted by bird and went after it only to realize it was just outside the window and no better toy was to be found at hand.

"Hey, now, you could at least say thank you."

"Thank you, Reno," Reeve said, and yes, he dragged it out, holding Reno's name like he was having fun with it. Like he was pleased to say the name. Why yes, Rufus, he really is a tease. Forgive him.

Now the cat knew the human was dangling a fake bird outside the window, and the cat was pissed. He makes sure to 'accidentally' kick Reeve's bag as he leaves with a wave. "Have fun. Don't break the furniture."

Rufus waits for Reno to leave before looking at Reeve. "I think you made him mad~"

"Why? Because he's shocked that we are both very attractive men when we're not in our suits? Because this wasn't a ploy to invite him into an ill conceived threesome?" Reeve asked, smirking and shaking his head before rising from the bed to cross to his bag. "I'm sure he'll find a way to avenge himself on the drive back. Because I am certain he will find a way to get himself appointed to that task."

"The latter. Though maybe not seriously." Rufus stays where he is, enjoying the view, and leaning against the door as he watches. "More the hot and cold thing would piss him off I think."
